Need help with HomeCombat? You're in the right place. Most questions are answered below. If you don't find what you need, email us at khoa@homecombat.com and we'll get back to you within 2 business days.
1. Contact us
The fastest way to reach a real person on our team is by email.
- Email: khoa@homecombat.com
- Response time: within 2 business days, Monday to Friday.
- Languages: English and Vietnamese.
When you write to us, please include your account email, your device model (for example iPhone 15 Pro), your iOS version, and a short description of what you were doing when the issue happened. Screenshots are very helpful.
2. Getting started
- Create an account. Open the app and sign in with Apple, Google or email. Your training progress syncs to this account, so you can pick up where you left off on any iPhone.
- Finish onboarding. Answer a few questions about your experience, goals, height, weight, intensity and stance so we can tailor your training.
- Pick a discipline. Choose boxing, MMA, Muay Thai or Sanda from the home screen and start your first guided combo.
- Run a round. Open the Timer tab to set rounds, work and rest, then press start.
- Try AI Analysis. Tap the Archetype tab, prop your phone up 2 meters away, then strike for 20 seconds to get your fighter archetype.
3. Subscriptions, billing and free trial
HomeCombat offers a 3 day free trial. After the trial, the subscription renews at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year (prices may vary by region and currency). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be charged during the free trial as long as you cancel before the trial ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. To view, change or cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select HomeCombat.
- Tap Cancel Subscription, or switch to a different plan.
You can also open this page directly: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew after that.
Restore a previous purchase
If you already paid for HomeCombat and don't see your subscription on a new device, or after reinstalling the app:
- Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that bought the subscription.
- Open HomeCombat.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Your subscription status will refresh within a few seconds. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the Apple ID receipt and we'll fix it manually.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Request a refund here: reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple denies your refund, write to us and we'll see what we can do on our side.
4. Account & data
Change your email or password
If you signed in with email, you can request a password reset from the sign in screen. If you signed in with Apple or Google, manage your sign in details with those providers. If you need to change the email tied to your HomeCombat account, email us and we'll help.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your HomeCombat account from inside the app:
- Open HomeCombat and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm. Your profile, onboarding details and training progress are erased immediately and cannot be recovered.
If you can't sign in for any reason, email khoa@homecombat.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify ownership and erase your data within 7 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription in Apple Settings first (see Section 3) before deleting the account, so you aren't billed for a renewal you can no longer use.
Export your data
To receive a copy of the personal information we hold for you (account email, onboarding answers, combo progress, subscription status), email us and we'll send it to you within 30 days.
5. Permissions HomeCombat asks for
- Camera — used only for the AI Fighter Archetype feature. Video stays on your device and is analyzed in real time. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
- Notifications (optional) — used for training reminders. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings.
- Microphone — HomeCombat does not use the microphone.
- Photos, contacts, location — HomeCombat does not access any of these.
You can review or revoke any permission in Settings → HomeCombat on your iPhone at any time.
6. Troubleshooting
The timer audio is silent
- Make sure your iPhone's ringer is on and the volume is up.
- If you use the silent switch, turn it off (the side switch above the volume buttons).
- Disconnect Bluetooth audio devices and try again, then reconnect.
- Force quit the app and reopen it.
The timer stops in the background
HomeCombat is allowed to keep the timer alive in the background while a round is running. If the timer drifts after a long phone call or another app takes over audio, force quit HomeCombat and start a new round.
AI Analysis can't see me
- Prop your phone up so the camera can see your full body, from head to feet.
- Stand 2 meters back, in good lighting.
- Wear clothing that contrasts with the background.
- Restart the round if the score ring won't fill.
Sign in with Google or Apple doesn't work
- Check your internet connection.
- Update to the latest version of iOS.
- Update HomeCombat from the App Store.
- If you previously signed in with one provider, sign in with that same provider again. Email us if your account got split across two providers and we'll merge them.
Progress isn't syncing across devices
- Make sure both devices are signed in to the same HomeCombat account.
- Pull down on the Progress screen to refresh.
- Sign out and back in if progress is still missing.
7. Health & safety
HomeCombat is a fitness and training app. It is not medical advice. Combat sports training carries risk of injury. Talk to your doctor before you start, especially if you have any heart, joint or blood pressure condition, if you are pregnant, or if you are returning from injury. Train within your limits, warm up properly, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
8. Device requirements
- iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later.
- An active internet connection for sign in, content sync and AI Analysis.
- Roughly 200 MB of free storage.
- Front or rear camera required for the Fighter Archetype feature.
HomeCombat is currently designed for iPhone. iPad is not supported.
9. Report a bug or request a feature
We read every message. To report a bug, email khoa@homecombat.com with the steps to reproduce, what you expected, and what happened instead. For feature requests, tell us what problem you're trying to solve and how you train today. We use these notes to plan future releases.
10. Legal
Read our Privacy Policy to see what data we collect and how we protect it, and our Terms of Use for the rules that govern use of HomeCombat.
